Hi , any one know at what temp the cooling fan should kick in on the M47 td4 , stat opens at 88ish but cant find the fan operation temp , thanks

Spent 5 hours under mine this afternoon , brushing waxoil on front brake pipes removing rust and sorting the side runner brackets , also did the jacking points and checked the sill and door drain holes , got to say gettin to old for this , feeling it now ! Not been on for a while , my freelander was built 10 years ago this month , thought id treat the old girl to a new gkn vcu and fag bearings , on 80k its been a bit of a dilemma , i am keeping it so for peace of mind bit the bullit !

Finally after many months , i have found a used fuel tank cradle in sound condition , going to have a go at fitting it , any one on here had experience of doing the job , looked at the Haynes, but is basic info , any help/advice on this will be appreciated :)
