I can thoroughly recommend Lancaster for landy insurance. Never had an issue and you get a geographic landline number to call and a human being answers the phone without any automated menus.

For what it's worth £1500 was reasonable. I paid the same a while back for a 90 that was mot'd but looked like it had been dragged through a hedge sideways.

If it's a new puma model the ac is ok, it's a lot of money though. Be sure you're going to really use it. Best upgrade I ever did to mine was a heated front windscreen.

I cut out the whole flood on my 300tdi and riveted on an aluminium sheet then wax oiled over it. Passed the mot without mention.
