Hi All, I have a discovery 3 2009 and the locking nut is spinning when I turn it with the key. Any one else had this problem and can advise me of the best method to remove it? Cheers

Just an update on this tread. The actual problem was the ride height sensor and wiring I replaced these off eBay and got them fitted. Pleased to say all faults are gone. Massive thanks to everyone and especially biketeacherdave

Hi Guys, I have an update on where I am at the moment. So I took out the integrated transfer case module and noticed some corrosion on the left hand plug and connectors. I cleaned them all up and inside the case and so far the fault has not came back but its only been a week. I will still look...

Ok guys I have a fault code U0416-86 and looking at the PDF attached at the top it says under that code check ABS system and DTC's. Whats DTC's stand for and has anyone got a workshop manual on file i can refer to?

Hi, no it happens when mainly when reversing or in slow moving traffic on an incline.

Thanks mate, I will hold off on the ECU for now and check the wiring once I have a fault code from a guy i know who pops down with his plug in machine.

I have changed the brake light switch already so can rule that out. My brake light bulbs are working but have not checked the level sensor wiring yet so thanks mate for your help.

Hi All, When I apply the hand brake on my LR3 I often hear a screeching noise for a 5 seconds. Any ideas what it could be? Cheers Mark

By watching youtube (how to use a multimeter) I found the problem. I performed a test on the brown wire . There are two cable looms that plug together hidden in the nsr tail light. The fault is on the first loom that clips into the back of the lr3 not the second loom that plugs into the bumper...
