Hi mate, sorry for slow reply.
I bought these; https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/products/5x-glb501-504-t10-landrover-defender-dash-clock-led-bulb-upgrade
Direct replacement for the original bulbs (mine had melted the bulb holders on the speedo). I went for green ones, should make your original...

I had similar myself recently. If you haven’t already fit led instrument bulb replacements. I had to fit a raptor metal frame, I had a spare good OE binnacle.

Standard Land Rover heavy duty wheels, also known as Wolf wheels.

The n/a wasn’t intended for motorways. In my 110 I expect to cruise at 60mph easy, it can get to 70/75 in the right conditions, but into the wind uphill can knock it back to 50 & 4th gear. That’s with a 1.4 ratio T-box. In good fettle they are absolutely fine to pootle about in and completely...

Check out https://www.steveparkers.com/conversions/
I’m keeping mine n/a but if I were doing it I’d go down this route.

Just watch that you should remove the prop shafts before towing these. If the broken bit had jammed the transmission during towing....
Similar to others I wouldn’t rule out the clutch but if you’ve succeeded with diff lock and still no movement it has to be in the gear boxes or clutch.
If it...

That’s a smart snatch! I wouldn’t worry about them diving to the kerbs, at least they’re out of your way. I find the hitch gets a little stiff if not used regularly but it doesn’t take much use to free it off again.

I know it’s a blag, I’m sure I used draught excluder on mine
Still runs nice and hot

Depends what you want to do with a 110 camper. I’d be tempted to copy the military command style, single bed flips up to a table. Could be made as a double.

No, there is a standard pickup tub and a high-cap (high capacity) tub. CSW is a third variant.
standard tub has smooth sides and same eyebrows as the front arches. Hi-cap tub is wide enough to cover the wheels without eyebrows, has a ribbed full width tailgate and number plate is on the...

If an AF110 has a hicap tub then yes. That military variant shouldn’t be any different from the civvy equivalent.

Going well, good write-up

I think he’s referring to the Snatch vehicles. Their armour wasn’t bodged, the snatches were designed to resist small arms fire in NI and were not fit or intended for the weaponry used in Afghanistan & Iraq.
