Hi, Not a big deal at the moment but wondered if anyone can guide me as to where to start with a small rough idle issue happens when cold or warm & rev counter moves only 1 to 2mm up & down & a small vibration wich maybe from normal engine or something else Where is best to start??/ J

Well.............. update I think this was coming from ice on rad or something as now the roads are clear here I see nothing at all & as for coolant leak since i have topped it up it has stayed topped up so unsure if this is related to when I stop & dont move the freelander now....... anyone any...

Hi, going to sound stupid but where abouts is the fuel line in the engine bay for a freelander........do i need to remove cover to find it etc or does anyone no or have an engine bay diagram..... for freelander 2001 I have looked on rave but without going through whole thing it does not...

Update ok I thought I was not losing coolant until 2 days ago then when I checked I had lost about 1cm have checked this morning & it is still at the same level....... could this be the expansion tank fractures. I am only thinking this as the 2 days since i last checked I have not really been...

When I started this moring nothing was sitting for like 20 mins on drive def etc nothing what so ever I had been driving about 2 hrs when it started by the time I got to car park nothing.....

Thanks for your help... I am going to have to stop & open it up just was hoping someone might of had same issue.... like you said i have to be carefull or it might do more harm than good hence why I did'nt want to drive if it is.....

By the time it starts I move as soon as I drive nothing I was also on the motorway when it was doing it so thought best not to get out......

As soon as I stopped nothing from it....... it is not loads of steam just a small amount every now & then

Not a 100% looks like steam..... but couldnt get out & check & when I parked up nothing but it did it like 3 to 4 times when stuck in traffic it apears to come from front end I thought snow on rad of something at first but then it did it when at car wash having it jet washed by the time finished...
