The spare has 120/116 S, and the 4 road tyres are 120/116 Q; both speeds (112 &100mph) are well outside the operating range of the TD5 that I reckon I'll be OK on that front - but thanks for making me check! :)

Will doing that cause wind up NO. Standard Td5 diffs are open at all times. Only center diff in the gearbox has a lock

I am running 235/85R16 on my TD5, without a spare; I'd like to re-install the spare on the load space, but it is 265/75R16. Running them through a tyre circumference calculator they have 99.6" and 99.4" respectively. On a 2WD car this is...

Not really; when I bolt the seat down in the cab, the rails are flush to the floor & the twist is no longer visible, but the effect of this is that the seat back teeth don't engage sufficiently to hold the seat back firmly. Unless I have...

I have recently re-trimmed my RHD 1999 90 seats with Exmoor Trim covers and all went well, except for the passenger front seat back keeps falling forward. I have removed the seat & frame, and it would appear that this is caused by the main spring...

Turns out the replacement motor was faulty! I obtained a new new one and all is good (apart from the many hours wasted trying to sort out what was wrong!!!). Thanks anyway.

    If you’ve got a bit of a Land Rover that’s working…just leave it 😂

The wiper motor on my 1999 Td5 was making a bad screeching noise (I could feel the noise was coming from the motor when I touched it), so I bought a new OEM motor ( RTC3867) from LR Parts. After swapping the gear etc & re-installing it works on...
