    Starter Motor Click

It was a new battery (I know, they should be full), but even with a battery booster/jumper attached it still just clicks.

    Lack of overall power.

Right..think the problem may have been solved, took it to independent garage to look at, they diagnosed MAP sensor and noticed the inlet manifold was very heavy at the bottom end, so cleaned that too...didn’t work, same as before, went in for an MOT a month later, got chatting, they tempered the...

    Lack of overall power.

Thanks for the replies....the other day I noticed a different noise than usual, when pressing the accelerator from idle I could hear the turbo whistling, followed by a sort of gargling noise, lifted the bonnet and pressed the accelerator again and could see the intercooler hose flattening (left...

    Lack of overall power.

Thanks for the quick response, yeah, the MAF is a genuine unit (at least the packaging and the price of it says it is). I didn’t think they were great at any kind of performance but with his opinions it kind of fits...first start/run from cold is terrible, really slow, when warmed up it isn’t...

    Lack of overall power.

Hello, I’m reaching out to the good knowledgeable folk of landyzone for help/advice/wisdom....my 05 td4 auto is seriously lacking guts throughout the rev range, had it into a specialist recently who couldn’t diagnose anything or had any clue except fuel starvation somehow. The things I’ve...

    Rear link bolt.

Same conclusion on it being ‘fully threaded’, not ideal, the parts where contact is made should be a shouldered bolt, being in engineering myself thought this to be strange.

    Rear link bolt.

Cheers Andy...I thought that might be the case, wonder why the replacement bolt is fully threaded.

    Rear link bolt.

Hi guys (and gals), After some advice on the long bolt that goes through both rear links to hub, the replacement bolts from LRDirect are fully threaded, thinking they should be shouldered bolts or do they screw into the hub, on a 2005 FL1?

    Cabin blower!!

SOLVED!! It was a ‘air feed direction pipe’(?) that comes from the main box near driver’s feet to up under the dash, adopted the veto’s hand/arm up a cow’s rear passage approach and found it had slipped, gave it a wiggle and a shove and its in, window de-misting both sides now, result, cheers...

    Cabin blower!!

Ahhh right, I guess freelanders have different systems....it’s a 05 td4, I’m thinking maybe it’s the vent flaps that open when dial is turned to windscreen that is broken?
