Have you backed of the knurled nut on the brake shoes, if not then do that as well as adjusting the handbrake cable in between the seats.
Rear of the brake drum remove the oval grommet, this will expose the knurled nut.

Knock the knurled adjuster nut with a stout screwdriver or small chisel they will turn, also use some plus gas on them.

thanks for replies folks, yeah ive slackened off the cables but those adjusters seem seized, wont turn either way, ive actually got replacements for them. can get the drums free so they wiggle maybe a cm or so, just feels like theres a lip or...

Once I’d slackened the handbrake cables and the adjusters in the back of the drums, mine came off with a gentle tap.
Take a photo before you start taking them apart!

You can use a hammer, to gently persuade the Drum to get out.
Mechanics use to tap the Drums on the side to get them out, don't know if it's good ... but it works.

currently fitting new clutch and new rear brake drums to my 05 td4 freelander, but cant for the life of me get the drums off, must of worn a lip or something.
any advice to remove them please.
