No, when I got mine a few months ago the pump had been removed and ace disconnected but all the pipes, valve, and roll bars had not, I have now removed everything and put on standard roll bars, just we wondered how my control had been disabled cos I have no self test lights.

If the warning light is bridged out in this way, Will it still come on when the ignition is turned on and go through its self test mode?

That's my point, Difflock is right it shouldn't fail an MOT in its current condition, and Dave is right as well a tester could decide his interpretaion of the guidelines means a fail, I have had advisories on MOTs before and not done anything about them then the next year nothing has been...

Fitted and plenty on underseal painted on, Just need to make some new mounting bolts for the side steps the old ones had to be cut off, Good thing is the bulkhead is sound.

Yes I think its for the best to remove it completely, Like Difflock66 says its should OK for an mot but different testers have diferent ideas. I have sent some e-mails around to some breakers yards to try to fine some roll bars, Drop links and bush sets seem to be cheap and plenteyful. Going to...

Sounds like there's no rush to change my roll bars then, I was slightly concerned as I will be towing a caravan 300 miles to Cornwall in a few weeks time, didn't want to end up belly up on the hard shoulder.I'm sure the wife would moan at me for weeks if we did.

First of all sorry for my delayed reply, being a new member with poor eyesight I didn't see that the replies went on to another page, lesson learnt! £20 for your efforts is short of what I expected so I have £50 to send you to cover everything if that's ok. What's the best way to send you...

Bought a x reg Discovery a few months ago 48,000 miles on the clock very clean. The Reversing lights stopped working so slid underneath to check the switch and noticed that the two rear bulkhead outriggers were very badly corroded the right hand one is 33% missing. I intend to weld some new ones...
