I bought a 1991 Defender from him. He had a few old Defenders for sale. He operates from his house near Bacup. Not the best buying experience and the brakes failed after a few days almost killing me! Not his fault I suppose but no warranty and he did pay 1/2 the cost of fixing them.

yes I saw that but the only ones I can see are from thenutsandboltsshop and although they say they are universal they are alloy and I am not sure they will fit. When i asked them they said they "wouldn't fit OEM wheels".

Does anyone know where I can get the 5mm spacers?

Thanks Its a Defender 90 200tdi registered 1990. I don't understand why the back ones fit and the front don't. After all the current steel spare fits both so surely they must be the same. / Spacers have been suggested...any thoughts anyone

I am a complete Land Rover virgin and a mechanical numpty. Just bought a 1990 Defender 90 for dogging activities (no not that kind!) So I bought some Freestyle wheels on ebay and had them delivered to my mate at his garage. Problem 1 ...tyres were rubbish and not as described Problem 2...
