Thanks. Yes managed to remove the whole panel. Only way in the end. All done. Thanks.

Thanks. My D2 has wooden trim, so the switch panel isn't separate, it's all one piece.

Hopefully a real quick question. How do I remove the electric window switches from the centre console on my D2? Surely I don't have to remove the whole console do I? Don't wanna break anything, and can't see any obvious way to do it. Have googled it, but can only find how to remove the whole...

Not to worry. I managed to do it this afternoon.

I'm in the process of changing the rear ACE pipes on my D2. Have all the old pipes off now after a long hard battle removing them from the valve block. I'm now trying to fit the new pipes in place, but I'm having no luck getting them over the chassis.
Do the pipes need feeding in from the wheel...

Hi. In the process of replacing the rear ACE pipes on my D2. I need a new pipe clamp, that holds the pipes and bolts onto the valve block. I've googled it and can't find anyone who sells it. If I had the part number, that could be a big help, if anyone knows it please? Thanks on advance.

Ok. Thanks to everyone who contributed to help me out regarding this problem. I thought I'd post a final update as it may be of some help to others at some point. I'm glad to say we got home without any problems. Towed the van faultlessly and effortlessly. I now have no issues with the MandS...

Luckily enough we now do have breakdown cover to get is home if needs be.

Do you get any smoke when you drive? Especially when the power seems to be dropping?

Just thought I'd post a quick update again. Went out to the Landy yesterday morning and got the m and S lights straight away. After driving a little way and restarting, the fault remained. I was thinking the new battery probably wasn't fully charged, so drove on a bit more and restarted and it...

Wow. Thank you Roy, that is a wealth of information. I decided to get a new battery, even though the output of the old battery was good...ish. I've fitted it and driven 10miles or so. So far, so good. I'm not counting my chickens, but fitting a new battery has made a difference so far. I'll have...

I don't unfortunately. There is a 4x4 garage down the road from us. The owner is into his Landrovers. I have booked it in there for them to look at, but they can't look at it until Friday. Was hoping I might get to the bottom of it before then, but not looking good. Bit stumped.
