Good point, in the lt tradition I suspect this is a mongrel! Does anyone know which oil is required for the Borg Warner transfer box, or does it depend on the model Bw 13-61-003?

I am very confused just going through the oils on the range rover, checked the old haynes manual, it has the old three speed box, it has a borg warner transfer box I drained the old oil-around 3 lt of very dark atf-manual says hypoid 90?? does it have the wrong oil, or does the borg warner use...

I have a 72 2 door-how can you remove door lock barrel from either door-on tjhe inside I assume it is held by a forked clip, but I cannot see it or work out how to remove it-anyone done one?
