Sorry shoulda mentioned its a Land Rover Discovery Sport 2018/2019 and recently had the DPF replaced and i am wondering if that work could have caused this fault so i can get them to fix it since they caused it maybe?

HI i had previously posted about getting loads of shirt circuits so put my Disco in to JLR to get it diagnosed and they are saying they want £1,325 to fix it. Error is "vehicle in restricted performance mode. fuse 11e blown due to coolant dripping from thermostat housing to piston cooling jet...

hello again long time no see - been getting some work done. Still getting restricted mode. i have gotten someone out with a better OBD thing and cleared all the errors - there were others my OBD didnt detect such as:

P0691-11 fan 1 control circuit low - circuit short...

HI i had 2x keys for the car. recently we had an argument that we shouldnt be leaving the key in the car which came to a head when we found out the key was in the house while we were at the supermarket.
But the car started so it transpires that we have lost the spare key - in the car. this was...

to try and better describe it - imagine you are at a roundabout and you see a car approaching from the other side. you know you have time to accelarate and get "smartly" to 25-30 mph - not Formula 1 style - just normal style. Its default known behaviour of the car. Now imagine at the same...

Thanks - im not driving it like a sports car nor do i want to - its just a way of describing a noticable before/after performance of the car in general. The DPF is new and was replaced by JLR in August and they now claim its not the cause of the problem and want to charge us 170 quid to...

No - once the errors are reset they go away and stay away but the engine is still sluggish. I dont "need" to rev it over 3k. It revs to 5k before the "limiter" comes on then it revs to 3k. it gets to 83 MPH but very slowly especially the first 30-40 mph. uphill is chronic, downhill isnt too bad...

so i took it out for a sping there and it goes slow and sluggish but gets to 83 MPH and sounds fine. i got a new error code though today - "P24C2 - Manufacturer Control"

H
exactly - i cant. i need that miracle. Would also settle for a method of resetting the main computer somehow :-)

H
no in the post above it says to only replace this part when confirmed as failed - miracle seems to be my best bet at the moment
