Got sick of being locked out the boot on my 300 so bodged a new lock on the outside, it always locked me out when the boot was full!

It came with that engine it's a good work horse, use it for towing around the farm, not quick enough for the road really hence the wagon engine, really want to do a 6bt cummins but scrapping an iveco so if that goes in would be ideal!

Not a clue it's a fair size tho! Must be over 500kg. I thought if I could get it in and rear wheel drive it would be handy to tow and a bit Quicker than the Range Rover with a 4.236 in?

just wondering if anyone has a 6 cylinder out of a cargo in anything? Similar to cummins 6bt, I've got a tidy galv disco chassis and body and a scrap cargo with a good lump. Just wondering if it's possible!

Looking at the Ashcroft site it's the zf pump gears, £75 new Is that all I need ? Looks like it press's into the housing.

Bollocks! New box time I take it then. I was meant to put engine in the bolt 4 bolts up through hole in back of bell housing then?

I bolted it to engine like a manual fly wheel, I think it all went in properly tho?

I've got a 300tdi auto which siezed xmas day, I've rebuilt the engine which starts,runs and sounds sweet. The problem is that it has no drive, is there anything I'm likely to of missed putting the engine back in? Or is it likely that the box is knackered, I've opened the cooler pipes and there's...

Hopefully order the bottom end bits tomorrow - shells and rings etc Then get the bloody thing built again,sick off moving engines bits that are I. My way!

Dropped the oil when I pulled everything apart , it was brown and didn't smell burnt so think I'll chance it. Knowing my luck the bloody thing will go on the test drive tho!

Is there much in them that wears out? Cars done 120 tho ish - jap import tho so not sure if it's service history or a menu.
