Thank you Ian for taking the time to reply in between being super busy. Thats perfect mate. My swing away has a slightly bigger rear bottom bracket which goes slightly further to the left so will have to grind away a small piece of the lower tailgate mount. (can always fabricate a new one if i...

Thank you Ian, that really helps.
I also have the right rear tailgate mount in the way. Did you have the same problem? Think i just need to grind it off to make the bottom bracket fit.

Brillant, thank you.
I was toying with keeping the spare on the bulkhead but id rather have the internal space and it looks better.

Afternoon everyone,
Anyone ever fitted a Mantec swing away on their Series rear safari door? The instructions don't give me the measurements to drill the door for the mounting plate. I suppose i could fit the actual carrier and see where it will fits with the door and measure from there...

Just taking apart a spare 2.25, quick question but why are the valves different? My other 2.25 petrol (81 Reg so slightly newer) has all the same valve tops.
Thank you

So the 25D won't work. I can't get a spark so I'm going to stick on a 45D which i know is working. I don't think this would be an issue swapping dizzys over would there?
Thanks

Thanks Kermit, on my 3 bearing currently sat in my Landy is a 45D dizzy. I’m not sure about the spare one but think it’s a slightly earlier 3 bearing - no engine number but with a 568750 head.
Thanks

Hi all, i have a 2.25 3 bearing engine with a 25D Dizzy on. Can i change this with a 45D? Reason being is that i have a shed load of spares for a 45D.
Thanks
