Not sure, but the repair shop called today and said the starter was bad. It just happened to go out at the same time it overheated. My daughter turned the motor immediately when she saw the red light go off so I didn’t really think that was the issue but I was just stumped. I started working on...

It’s an automatic. The oil looked fine and was still a good color. I use synthetic oil. Sent it to the repair shop today. Hopefully it is nothing major. Thank you so much for you input

I don’t think it overheated too badly. She turned it off immediately. I did try to jump it through with no luck. Seems to have power. the lights work.

I can’t seem to find the inertia switch though. Maybe this model doesn’t have one

It’s an LR2 and it was the temperature light.

my 2009 Land Rover red light came on and my daughter turned the engine off. Not it only will make a faint click when I push the start button. Will not jump either. Do I need to push the inertia switch? Thank you
