    I enjoyed the drive, would have been better to have taken a day or two longer probably. I drove over from Southampton - so drove to Dover the night before taking ferry over to Dunkirk, then drove Dunkirk to Bremen first day, then Bremen to Linköping the second day - ended up about 8 hours first...

    It's almost as if someone's taken off all the checker plate..... you don't normally see them that corroded on bodywork..... I guess maybe that's the reason they out checker plate on ..

    The drivers door tends to have so e extra wires to signal back - this allows for example you to unlock the drivers door with the key and have it unlock the others doors. I have a hawk kit off eBay and that's how it works there

    As a general rule, you should only be able to see through the windows....not the body work. Unfortunately with the bulkhead it's quite often a lot worse than it looks. I would suggest taking the dashboard off and having a good look. The bulkhead pillar's are likely also not in great condition...

    Give it a go using a bolt in the hole at the end of the CV - if it is that, you should be able to pull it out (have the wheels straight forward).

    Sounds like the cv joint isnt far enough out. There should be some shims and then a circlip - have you added those?
