Yeah me too but it seems to run fine very little if any smoke. Just this issue where as it suddenly become even thirstier than normal

No not yet, Its only just really been brought to my attention as the missus uses it day to day. Could be getting a little more but I think we've worked out to be getting around 20 mile to the gallon. I don't know what they are suppose to do but we've definitely seen an increase in fuel...

It's a manual and not at any altitude. Gauge purely by how often we're visiting the petrol station lol. No we are only getting about 70 miles out of £30

Yes I'd noticed these short burst whilst we were playing about with it before but there air it's producing whilst operating is no more than your breathe would be hence thinking about changinging piston ring

Thanks Brian. Makes sense I never thought of it that way.
We are thinking that the compressor may actually be working but producing very little air so I think I'm going to try a compressor repair kit see if this works as the rest of the system is air tight

Yes loads and all linked with the compressor unfortunately I left the list at garage. There were both level sensors both control valves. Exhaust valve duty exceeded or something and another duty exceeded code too

Ok so I have an update the car is back up to normal ride height bit it hasn't done it on its own.
We ended up blowing air through the compressor and manually raising it with the diagnostic machine.
Question is why would it raise with the computer plugged in but not on its own
