    we have a defender 110 with Salisbury rear diff - 2000 TD5 Today big clunk as we drove up steepish hill Front wheels truing to drive us forward and (at least one ) rear wheel trying to go backward Friend says rear diff is broken but looks okay through inspection cover Anyone know...

    Prob Shaft Possible Rattle..!

    Not sure how to post a new thread so posted as reply.... Our defender 110 TD5 made a big clonking noise and now from t wheels trying to drive forward and rear wheels backwards Friend says this is rear diff (salisbury) But could it be transfer box -or something else?? Thanks
