    I'm going to take a look at the bulkhead fixing. Maybe a couple of new plastic vents and some self tappers / rivnuts might work. Guess it might also have a further knock on effect to the heater ducting etc.

    Unfortunately they are different. The later models (certainly 300tdi, not sure about 200tdi) had wider vent apertures so the screw spacing is different. and the screw pacing on the bulkhead id what determines which one you need. I had this issue...
