I have a 2012 pre face lift and many of us have fitted the Xtrons unit. This gives you all android apps plus you can wire up a reversing camera. Mine doesn't dim but I believe that needs to be connected to the lights on instalation. But it's great to have Google maps/Waze and the ability to...

I had same problem both when pressing down and releasing. Then it started to sound like a barn door opening when the hinges hadn't been oiled. My mechanic changed the clutch peddle and now it is lovely and quiet.

    Roof tent

Update on the tent. The better half and me went for a night away and it was the dogs bollocks. Standard roof bars held up with the 2 of us snug inside.

And the tent is on and up

They are expensive but I was lucky cos I cashed in some free shares I was given so it didn't cost me anything. But the added bonus is you get to look down on the 'poor' campers:):):):):)

And the tent is on and up

Takes about 30 minutes to lift and bolt onto the roof bars. Then remove the protective cover, grab the ladders and pull. Hey presto the tent is up.
