just pulled the head off, already has a mls gasket with steel locating dowels and has had a head skim, just gonna replace with mls and hope for the best, also removing the thermostat aswell, are new bolts neccesary? also am i right in thinking the torque settings are 20nm then 180 then 180 again?

does anyone know how much you can skim off the head maximum?

im pretty sure its hgf as there is nothing else that can cause the coolant system to become pressurised and come out of the expansion cap, with regards to the clutch it isnt heavy at all, just when going to pull away there is no bite then a few milimetres higher it engages fully and nearly...
