how would I bypass it?

Do you happen to know of a step by step replacement of the heater matrix? Or at least a thread or video showing how to get it out?

The heater is off when it happens, I haven't turned the heater on while it is happening but I did turn on the fan and it blows out a little more smoke then seems to stop.
