if it was a leak why does it stay up if its unlocked and only goes down when locked?

I've a disco 3 2006, if i lock it after a few days the rear driers side will lower, but if I leave it unlocked it stays up. anyone know what to check?

looking to buy a 90 thats on a galv chassis and some sites it comes up as a van or pickup, but it is a van made to look like a CSW. Now is there any implications? Can the V5 be changed so it doesnt show as a Pickup? will it change on the insurance data base? any other issues to look at ? or...

Looking at buying a 110 year 2007 2.4, what are the things to look out for on thses? obvious is chassis but what other known problems? I've owned various td5's and earlier so not new to land rover ownership. TIA
