Try some wd40 on the steering shaft ujs under the bonnet. If it gets better, time to change the problem one.

Sealant will be keeping it stuck to the windscreen surround.

Side exit is what you just described.

What was wrong with the original. Usually just seize up and then are fine when freed and greased.

I made my own using the original manifold pipe and just cut up an exhaust pipe until it fitted and welded the joints. The whole pipe has just crumbled away to rust. Doing it the easy way this time.

Anybody got the 200tdi into a 90 exhaust downpipe modification kicking around and for sale. Greasing the ujs and noticed my downpipe is nearly right through, time for the conversion pipe now. I can get a new one but second hand is better and cheaper.

Get the real one instead.

Trace the starter wire back to the block connector if there is one and while someone works the key, bend and twist the block and see if it works and work back from there. There may be some modifications in the mix, trace it all the way.

Fuse ok. Not loose or dirty. If you put 12v direct to little wire on starter, does it fire.

Just register it in your name online. When the new log book gets to you, sorn it online. You can't sorn it until you own it. No need for receipts etc.

What part did you buy, it will be the other one. What engine is your r380 connected to. Did you buy the 5072. The difference is one will fit and the other one won't.

You don't say what you have. Guess at this one. Really depends on what you own.

R380, roof and sides are a personal choice. If carrying passengers then windows are good, just rubbish in the back, leave it as van sides.

Post your part numbers but you should really get a new flexi as well. Do all three at same time.

Cut out the bad bits and see if fuses etc are still popping. Replace bad bits with new wire and graft it in. Beats the massive job you are planning.
