    Rite, so far ive changed the maf sensor, cleaned out the lift pump in the tank AGAIN and change the diesel filter.     One thing ive noticed is that its not burning any oil, and theres no oil loss from the engine what so ever. I will change the fuel, air and oil filters tomorow and see if it makes a difference. I changed the airflow meter and it helped with some of the smoke and it brought back a bit of power...

    hi folks, My freelander td4 with 80k is sick. Its dead, cant pull its self up hills and theres nothing but black reek behind. I replaced the airflow today and still the problem is here. anyone have any ideas ?

    Bought my td4 new, and at 5000 miles the pump in the tank gave up... recently as my freelander hit 70k it was becoming hard to start.... engine management light and driving very slugish.... pump gave up again. ive put 2 pumps in mine, and i expect it to give up again before i sell:(

    ok found my problem. the window cable has snapped. and the car must think the window is down which is why the wiper aint working, spraying or heating. but im suprised that the window hasent fallen into that door????

    Same problem here. window wont drop when i go to open the taildoor. no wiper working, and the switch in the cabin only bleeps when i try to put it down. it just seems as it all power has been cut off to the tail door. i must check and see if the number plate lights are working!

    Hi all, First post here, i have a problem on my freelander td4. The rear window glass wont drop when i open the door, and when i press the switch to drop the glass in the cabin it bleeps 3 or 4 times at me. Any ideas what the problem could be ?
