I found a full HSE kit on google brand new is around £1200, these are 4 leaf paras. I thought leaf springs could carry more the parabolic ?

Hello, I have a series 3 109 ex mod and I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get some heavy duty springs from? I don't care about it sitting hirer, I just need it to be able to carry more load. I have tried to find ex ambulance springs but have had no luck! Anyone got any ideas?

Im a tree surgeon and use an 1982 land rover series 3 109 for work, it carries logs and wood chip daily and dose not seem the struggle to bad, however will parabolic springs cope as well? I can get 4 leaf parabolic from paddocks for £142 but not sure if its worth it. Im ok with the bumpy ride...

All 4 of my front slave cylinders are leaking and in need of replace, the new ones are ordered for tomorrow so i thought I would use this time to educate my self about bleeding them. Any tips or advise?:confused:

Just checked all the track ends, none felt loose but when i checked for tightness the one that joines the steering box arm was cross threaded but looks new! i had to cut the nut off because it was so damaged but like i say it was tight first so still not sure if its going to cure it Also just...

my pedal is not spongy at all but I am loosing brake fluid. It did it again today, it is quite sever. As soon as it starts if slow right down its goes but it it only when hitting bumps its goes wonky. starting to think it may be down to some play in the steering ( about 2 ")

I jacked each axle separately and still nothing, I'm pretty sure the fluid leak is brake fluid not axle oil. No more work for a while so will have to take it in in the new year
