    Hi Ormus, thanks for the reply. Its 2004, one of the last ones before the TD6. There is a label beside the low-high ratio knob showing the diff lock settings etc, the top of the knob just has the straight hi - low indication. The physical movement of the lever is forward and back, no left or...

    Brill Forum, lots of interesting reading, well done. I have just got another Disco 2, the first one I had, had a diff lock this one does not, is it an optional extra or have Land Rover done away with them? :mad:
