Do you know if the bezel for the freelander 2 is the same as the one for a freelander 1? They look identical???
We need one but for a freelander 1 it's like £40 but for a freelander 2 it's £15!!!

Egr is already blanked. I had to bite he bullet and take it to a land rover garage. It's the fuel rail looming. It's been re-wired. Much better now :-)

Here's a few videos of the fuel pump working as I think it may be starved of diesel? It doesn't sound right. It takes a good minute to prime and when running it sounds like its running really hard.

We have had this problem creeping around for a while. Firstly it started stuttering on idle a little but if you revved it hard it would be fine for a while.

@crockett007 - Iv not replaced the EGR blanking plate that has perished with anything. as it stands its unblocked again. Im going to purchase one of those proper blanking units off ebay today i think.
@mjrimmer - raspy? uumm it defo sounds like its hunting really bad. Its very inconsistent...

Hi, we have a little problem with our 2004 td4.
A few weeks we pulled up after a 50 mile trip up the road and the car iddled very irratic, almost like it was going to stall and then recovers it self and back to nearly stalling/recovering etc etc.
we let it cool down cause it was a hot day...

So I'm best to empty the system when the expansion tank arrives and start from scratch with fresh antifreeze?

The problem with that is I don't know what type of anytifreeze is in there already. Would it be safe to take the risk of mixing types?

What a range indeed...is there a difference in quality? Would the cheaper ones just end up the same way my current one is like? Would the more expensive ones not do this?
