Fitted new tank and cap yesterday so I will keep my eye on the fluid level. New tank was pn pcf000012 and old tank was pcf000009 The new tank has a bigger cap that is on a ratchet. The new one cost £25+vat but included the cap, what did you lot pay?

Thanks for clearing that up Treworgey Gonna order the new tank and cap tomorrow. There is a new type of tank that has replaced the other on the Freelanders so they must have had some problems with them. New part number is PCF000012 replacing PCF101360. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that...

Thanks for the replys will change coolant tank and cap and see if it works. Checked through searched threads by the way

Hello Freelander 2001 td4 Right I am losing a small amount of coolant, cant find any external leaks and no signs of hgf. Some things that I am unsure should be happening. Coolant is coming straight back into the expansion tank from start up. isn't it only supposed to come back into the tank...
