    So I replaced the waste gate modulator, no different. I have also fitted a new injector harness and cleaned all the excess oil from all plugs etc. No different. Thought I would do the fuel purging procedure and realised the fuel pump is not running. Is it possible that the car will still run...

    I will replace the loom but you reckcon its not likely to be my problem. Meaning replacing the loom is not a fix for my problem but simply stop oil reaching the ecu plugs.

    Sierrafery can you explain solenoids don't get proper feed anymore. You reckon it needs replaced. I thought if cleaning it had helped I was on the right track and then I would replace it.

    So tonight I tried the wastegate with vice grips. It seemed to be ok. Then I took the red plug off ecu and it was covered with oil. Cleaned it all out but still the same. GDM did you get yours sorted?? Going to order modulator next

    Will try those few things. Changing the fuel pump and it working for a week must have been a strange coincidence.

    Well here I am again, back to square one with Landy not revving again. Went for a full week after replacing the pump. When I was waiting on my new pump to arrive I had battery out to charge. Silly question but could leaving car with no battery in it have cleared something. Think I need to check...

    Just to update. I replaced the fuel pump and all the above problems are sorted. Landy is back to running like a sweety. Cheers all

    Think its the fuel pump in tank. After replacing fuel filter can't get car to start. Checked fuel filter after preforming bleeding procedure and the filter is still empty.
