Hello mate, sorry this isn't answering your question but how did you find replacing your cross member? Mines patched to the hilt so I'd like to replace it, but was it straight forward?

Of cause, I'd forgotten about the bumper, that probably makes it a bit odd looking.
I'm just after getting more wing clearance, I have a 2+ lift with 235.85.R16 tyres on it and the things just catch the arches.. Think I'll stick with cutting the arches an inch.
No going back then though!! :(
Has anyone on here ever done a body lift on a classic?
Was thinking of doing one but I don't know the in's and out's.. Issues and knock on effects of doing it!
