I have a 1990 tdi defender which has a 36 spline steering column. Is it possible to change this to a 48 spline enabling me to have a thicker steering wheel. If so is it a simple job to change them over? Help appreciated

I have a 301 landrover steering wheel, I want to fit it onto my 200 tdi defender 1990 model. My mechanic told me he cant find a way to fit it. Do I need anything else to make it fit and does anyone know where I can get the parts from.

The reason I want to run it off an inverter is because the self contained fans are not strong enough. The power of the portable battery fans is quite weak. Does anyone know of a strong one which can either run off the cigarette lighter or an inverter?

I would like to change the steering wheel on my tdi 200 to one off a tdi 300. I have had conflicting comments on this of landy buffs. Some say I can and some say I can.t Can anyone clarify this please.
