Nothing to do with fobs, there is a transponder in each key. Just handles the immobiliser, not the alarm or locks. If you try to use a strange key it locks the immobiliser. I will try to find the info. but if you can I.D. the original key/s try just turning the ignition on then off without...

If it's a V6 there is a vacuum valve combined with a junction in two vacuum lines, sitting just under the mid to l/h back edge of the acoustic engine cover/air filter box. It's made of plastic and can break in two leaving the servo without vacuum.

Good result, you can now work out how to remove the level plug anyway, before you forget about it til the next time. Just hitting it straight on can help by squashing the copper gasket a little, it will also push a little of the metal back into place. Heat will also help as the alloy will expand...

I have enough strife just getting in the door without hitting my head. It's the only real fault imho, even the mechanical hiccups are just maintenance.

Diesels are like that, they will still fire with faulty injectors, just not as efficiently. Some engines don't regulate air intake, only fuel flow rate to regulate power. If 3 are faulty you might as well do 4 to balance things up properly.

have you just been using regular diesel or trying bio or additives to clean injectors? If you have tried fuel additives, it can carry gunk out of the tank in bulk, multiple failures becomes easy.
