Thanks for replying, oil is defo at correct point on dipstick and has never used any oil since this annoying problem occured. Thanks for the info on the valve assy and crankcase breather filter. The blue smoke is definatley diesel smoke you can taste it never mind smell it !!, it's spitting...

yeah i tried that,it still ran lumpy though, also forgot to mention that all the injecters were checked when it went into land rover for the 3rd time aswell and they were all fine.
