Nodge, Thanks for pointing this out! Indeed the PDC has never worked since I bought the car, hence the warning tone has always sounded! Knowing this, thanks to your response, |I checked the PDC section in the handbook and the long tone for a fault is mentioned there. Thanks again! Alan.

Hi, all! When starting my Freelander 2, as the LR logo appears on the dash screen, a tone sounds for around 2 seconds. On other similar vehicles I have driven, this does not happen. What does this tone (like a low whistle) mean?
