If you put a spacer kit on a defender with standard wheel arches (boost alloys and 256 tyres) then it doesnt stick out beyond the arch. Even with 285s and spacers its still within the arch. the reason i added a spacer kit and didnt adjust the lockstops was because there wasnt enough bolt to adjust

I have 265x75x16s on my defender and so far I've experienced no problems (nor have I heard that this might be an issue) the only thing I would recommend would be a spacer kit. When I first fit the 265s on full lock they rubbed on the chassis, after fitting a spacer kit (30mm) this was no longer...

hi i was just looking at my mates defender and it has a bit of a guard on the axle casing for where the lock stop bolt hits it, is this guard a must? or can the axle casing take being hit by the lock stop bolt?
if not, can i get hold of the guard?
thanks

oh, i think im doing it right, the bolt needs to come away from the disc right? so i should be loosening it

just tried to adjust the lock stops on my defender due to putting some wider tyres on, but the bolt isnt long enough so that i can reduce the lock. anyone know what to do, or at least know the size of the bolt so that i can get a longer one? its for a 2009 defender

Just fitted some new 265/75/16 BFG AT's on my 90. But they rub just before full lock, I know i can adjust something to prevent this, but how?

Just wondering, other than width, whats the difference between 235/85's, 265/70's and 265/75's?
thanks
