Not many ejoke owners on here. As a start, you could try disconnecting the MAF and clearing the codes, see if they return. The ECU should use a default setting (I think), which will prove/disprove the sensor. Or burn it 🤪

They're highly protected and there's a lot of work going on to build their numbers back up. Their numbers have been badly affected by rats (brought over by Maori & Europeans) and stoats (by Europeans). I'm sure it's illegal to keep them in...

Back to nearly concourse, and with £3 still safely in my pocket. That's what I call a good day 😎

The OP is welcome to borrow some of my decoys. Crows tend to complete ignore them, too 🤪

This is where I got mine from. Looks like they are a bit cheaper at the moment… (they’ve never been the ‘full’ price!) https://eurosubframes.com/pages/product-result?rq=yr_2009~mk_landrover~md_freelander-2~jx_rear-subframe

They won’t be cheap (not silly expensive), but they certainly know their Freelanders, and will 100% be able to sort yours if it’s not something you want to tackle yourself. Sue and Norbert are great guys… and say hello to the dogs!

Thanks very much Freddie 17 for your reply ;), its gives me the re-assurance that I should be able to get the subframe replaced. I had already seen a new after market subframe on Ebay complete with control arms for around £440. I also recall...

    1) Yes, I replaced my rear subframe last autumn with a brand new one. Did it myself, on my drive. Everything else under the car was fine, no welding required. I bought all the suspension arms (with bushes) along with the subframe. The frame and...
