Got the injectors out today. 1,3 & 4 popped out fairly easily with a flat bar on the plastic cover to support my pry-bar.
Number-2 needed my slide hammer pictured above, but eventually came out. Took all the tips off, and cleaned them out so...
Aside from the few sensors mentioned, you really need to get the codes/live data - you can throw parts at it if you like, but really you need to diagnose the issue.
Get it on a reader and check the fuel pressure on the low side and the high side...
Sue will definitely have VCU’s and IRD’s, along with diffs or whatever else you want to get if you choose to replace. They’ll all be either new parts or recon’d correctly, but like I say, they won’t be cheap.

That is how I rebuilt my IRD.
I wasn't even keen to actually remove it, but I have an inspection pit in my garage which made the job so much easier.
Having done it and put it back together again, I'm much more confident to take on other jobs...
Have you read any codes?
When you say the ‘battery has a clean bill of health’… how so? How old is it? These are power-hungry vehicles and anything over 4/5 years old likely won’t cut it. A duff battery can cause all sorts of issues with these...
