Well I have bought the tool kit required from eBay it says for manual 200/300tdi and I couldn't find the auto version but I assume it must have some way of looking similar to the flywheel hole on the manual. I will check the Haynes manual

Looks like I will need a special tool to remove pulley, looking at that video I would doubt a garage that specialises in Land rovers would put the washer the wrong side of the wheel.but it seems odd that my leak would start immediately after belt replacement?

I have recently had my 300tdi auto timing belt replaced. From that moment on I have had an oil leak from the wading plug hole on my timing cover. Ok it could be that my crankshaft seal has chosen this moment to give up. But I saw this on you tube . and it has set me thinking. It has been some...
