Same short length of wire with two spades is useful for running the EAS Pump manually as well !!
  • Flossie
Ahh, I remember now. I did the flow test with no available help, hence the jumper wire I made up. I could hold the measure pot with one hand and bridge the relay with the other, used the stop watch on my phone.
  • Flossie
Yes. You bridge the relay and run the pump for for bit on earlies, same as fuel flow test. you just use the ignition on yours.

17x19.5x1 they are much smaller OD than the originals, I put a pic up on here somewhere, ID is larger than originals, difficult to get them on the injector if they were the same as original I suppose. I don't know if the od or the id was the...

Thinking about it...might be wrong here..but don't early models only pump on cranking, later models just ign on?? Mines 2001 so I just have to cycle the ign. I do have a short length of wire with two male spades on it in my door pocket that I...
  • Flossie
Yes. I fit the new filter to a warm engine, cycle the ign a few times until fuel is bubble free in the clear pipe and start her up, idle a bit lumpy for a few seconds then done.

There is an ebay seller who does a set of six but they are rubbish as I found out, changed number 1 injector seal twice with them with no luck. I got 5 injectors off ebay and chucked them in a sonic cleaner and fitted one of those in place of the...

The pipes rust just as they come out the intank pump and leak or let air in. There should be no air in the clear pipe going to the fip. 3 bolts hold the cover on over the rocker cover then it can be slid out to look at the fip and leak offs...

Read the owners hand book. There's a bit of a knack using the key/screwdriver to get it to engage.

Hi, I've a Defender 90 25 years old. In good nick but the clutch is killing me! I'm waiting for another new knee and I'm no wimp, but it is ridiculously hard to operate! Any advise as to how to improve it would be appreciated, as I love my Digby!

You can fit the later over centre type spring, can't remember if you need to change the pedal as well. Another option is a servo which is more involved. Oh, and welcome, best put your questions in the 90/110 forum.

People who run veg or bio use it to aid starting in winter, called mis fuel in those circles. I would have it but I don't know where you are, otherwise list it as miss fuel on market place or some such site and a vegger might be near? I've used...

Well, I'm nearly 66 years of age and I had thought I'd got all this out of me and I could live a normal life. For nearly 20 years I've been addiction free and taking it 1 day at a time, every day has been another 1 day away from addiction. But...
