OK, it was not clear from the photo that you had 2 sockets, that is the 7S socket also useful for charging the battery via pins 4 & 3. I am surprised that you no longer have the bulb fail message.
I've had the reverse light failure message for so long I don't even notice it anymore. I figured the wiring could take it but if I (or someone else afterwards) ever put an original bulbs back it might not so best fit a relay for the extra lamp.
