Thanks gents, could be a cheap fix then. Not sure exactly where I read about the valve seat issue. I had a quick browse there and there are clearly plenty of opinions on whether it is a thing or not. I'm now using two additives per fill, one for lead, one for ethanol. Cheers, Al

Yep, there is a dash lighting switch which isn't switching on the dash lighting. Good place to start I guess, to check power and earth. Earth problem could be root cause of all this but probably means taking the pod apart? How easy is it to pop out a gauge? Al
