Thanks for replying Discool:) I meant that I can assume that my cats are not overheating, as the sensors aren't connected to them anymore. I broke 1 of the sensors when removing them from the original downpipes. The thread that I asked about them on before is here...

Thanks for replying:) Mine's is an import, so that explains why the light's fitted. I replaced the cats about 6 months ago with a stainless set from Rimmer Bros. The new 1's were missing the housing for 2 strange sensors, so I disconnected them. I did ask on this forum what they were, but...

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but as it's about warning lights it seemed appropriate. I've got a V8 auto '93 Disco' and recently 1 of the warning has started lighting up, it's only dim but as I have no idea what it means and it is causing me a little concern. It's the middle light on the bottom...

That's weird. The manufacturers of my BRC LPG system said that it's nothing to with the LPG and must be after-market. They seemed to think they were to do with a RPI power amp, whatever that is:confused: As for MOT's with LPG I can only speak from experience as I've not read the legislation...

The wires appear to go into the door pillars with no plug to disconnect them at all. Which is weird. Like you say, Landrover would've put plugs on them, but it's a lot of hassle for an add-on to thread them through the door pillars:confused: Each sensor has 1 braided metal wire with 2 wires...
