Yeah, the drive nicer, but they are just as unreliable ... its not that much different. Personally, I like the sound of the Rover block on full chat compared to the BMW block. ( although when its pulling hard in 4th, it does have a really nice deep growl )

Sorry, I'm going to pick point: Nothing to do with the LPG itself ... bad advice yes, but not the LPG. I suspect your more likely talking about Rover block V8's which generally need cam chain work at those sorts of mileages anyway. To me, the Rover block is an 80k - 100k service interval...
