Thanks Titus for your advice. The car probably won't see mud as I want it for the better ride height and the 4x4 capability in the snow, not that you get much in Liverpool. I will want all the frills but I realise it's more to go wrong.

Thanks for the welcome, Turktowner. I'm trying to get as new as possible because I'm at that age where I don't work on cars. Does it matter about high mileage? What about cam belts and like? I'm weary of buying an older model, which turns out to be a pig.
