Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies and sorry for the delay, internet was scarce. Removed the handbrake and have been driving around with only the drum installed. Turned out the handbrake caused the problem. One of the previous owners did a ****ty repair job. Found welding work on the top plate...

Hi All,
I have an issue that's getting worse. Since I purchased my Def 110 97' 300Tdi in 2019 I now and then have a knocking/thumping sound coming from, what I believe, around the transfer box. It doesn't occur regularly and only under the following circumstances:
- Engine hot (driven for at...

I had a similar issue with my temp and headlights. Checked with Defender rebuilder here and he gave me the following advice: Add a ton of earths. So I added/replaced the following earths:
- Battery to bell housing
- Bell housing to chassis
- Battery to seat-box
- Engine to chassis (as close as...

Hi Payydg,
Thanks for the reply. I will install what was factory fitted. Only questions that's left is if my servo is the original, or if need to get that one new (which would be a shame as it's working properly). Somebody recognizes my servo via the pics? or is there a place where I can find...

Hi All,
I'm in the midst of redoing the entire braking system of my Def110 300TDi 97' VIN: VA.... Whilst checking for buying a new MC I found out that (if my observations are correct) my def is suited with a series MC and not a Def one. Which makes me now wonder if:
1. My Servo is actually the...

The engine indeed comes from a disco, done by the previous owner. This clarifies it for me! I will keep the sensor out and remove all EGR related wiring/connectors from the loom.
Thanks!
ps. still wondering what the purpose was when functional. Did this sensor tell the inj pump to add/lessen...

If I'm not mistake just the throttle cable! Butt i've attached some pics.

Hi All,
I'm cleaning up my engine bay starting with making a new engine wiring loom. The previous owner(s) have made a complete mess with many many connectors not connected and many other cables just snapped and hanging loose. While getting the engine loom out I came across ERR2083 which had the...

I think you both are right, I have mixed them up! Thanks for the replies, will stick to the 2 piece.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply will keep the diff as it is. Haven't heard any strange noises except for the worn shafts. Any recommendations on the one or 2 piece half shafts?

Had a similar issue in mine, the GF insisted on redoing it (she is good with fabric) and redid everything with thick car carpet available on a roll/per meter. Looks like new and even managed to do the gearbox tunnel properly by making incisions in the fabric 'carrier plastic' on the back. Whole...

Hi all,
I have a 110 300TDi 98' with a salisbury rear axle. My half shafts are worn (flange side, didn't check the other side yet) and i'm now looking into either 1 piece half shafts or a 2 piece version. I have looked around on this and other forums but so far couldn't wrap my head around what...

Well the previous owner had already made a bit of a mess here, indeed the banjo's have been replaced with the 'standard' types. I'm gonna follow the advice for nylon and will sort the whole system including banjo's out after summer. Thanks a lot!

the id's are the same, but my od's are now 13mm for flow and 10/11 for return so the original land rover clips are not suited. The opaque clear is a good one! Although as i just installed everything for the time being i want to keep what i have but use suitable clips so i can get rid of the zip...

Hi All,
So i have replaced my rusty old tank including the craddle/stone guard. But i'm now doubting if i put the rubber mounting bushes on correctly. I can't figure it out with the help of interwebs nor manuals.
Current situation
the bolt sleeve - mounting rubber - tank - mounting rubber -...
