Those glove boxes are an utter PITA if you disturb them. Last time I just left mine closed for 2 years and it suddenly started working again.

As said it's a wasted spark system, it will spark down 2 leads at the same time. Normally when a coil goes it will impact both cylinders not one. I would suggest the coil is working fine at this point. It could be a dodgy injector, but i would...

After you have fitted the new cups and clipped everything back together, tap around the uj head with a hammer it will realese any assembly tension. Hopefully that's all you need to do. The old phased or none phased question 😜

Any Nanocom for P38 should read the SRS system. Only the engine ECU's require unlock codes. If you want to pop up to Langley I could take a quick look. No promises on fixes though. Most likely it's a bad connection on one of the seat...
