This is exactly it I think. After flipping the battery - no alarm sounds… and no counter. I did disconnect the neutral, wonder if I need to disconnect it completely (both terminals) for 1 min? Manual says earth terminal though…

Yeah, I found that thread too, problem is I have no original sat nav installed. I have one I can connect, but with no code - removing half the dash seems a “meh” type activity. Local dealership says there’s no record of an alarm or a code, so...

Someone also suggested to unplug nav module in the back, tried that too - still no luck..

It's L322 2002 4.4 M62B44. Looks like "EKA code", but local dealership has no records of an alarm ever installed into the car, so they have no codes...
