If the bulbs were working but LEDs are not im thinking most likely a duff unit. Got any buddies with an led setup? You could try one of theres quickly and rule out if it's your exact unit gone wrong.

What flossie said, the connections have a right and a wrong way but there's no way to tell other than trial and error , sounds like you got lucky putting all the back ones in and them working first time.

Is that throughout every 90 rear axle? Even up to the 2016? Cheers for that I can stop stressing over if I've just bought an expensive lump

Bought a td5 def 90 axle for my 200tdi def 90 to get disk brake on the back. Are all the ratios correct between axles to swap out and just drive?
